I had the privilege to interview Barry Habib, and he's been influential in the market for so many years.

And now he c- he really, I mean, the man probably does not have to work, and here he is, uh, fighting cancer.

Fighting.

And so I wanted to understand not just what's going on, but like why did certain things happen.

So I studied this man by the name of Barry Habib.

In the world of real estate, everybody, or most people who know about real estate know this guy.

And he just-

But here's what the story comes down to, which is deflection on the part of Pulte.

He's trying to take away from the fact that over the past 18 months, when he's been promising since before he took office to look at the LLPA issue, famously brought on Barry Habib onto the board, put some relief into the LLPAs that didn't help the people that needed it most in terms of the first-time buyers.

And now he's trying to deflect by saying that it's the mortgage insurance companies that are making their money on the backs of consumers.

The reality is that they're really not.

I think the average 50 percent.

I think I saw Barry Habib make a post somewhere about that.

the average loan officer is closing one loan a month.

So when we started onboarding loan officers and they said they wanted to come here because they all think that they're getting some magic, okay, just do what Denise does and I'll be a hundred million dollar producer, which doesn't happen overnight.
