Barry Clifton

the wizard was, he's a professional actor out of Little Rock.

His name's Barry Clifton.

So I had posted a casting call on Facebook And somebody had just tagged him in the comments like, oh, Barry Clifton, you would be a good wizard.

Probably halfway joking about it.

He had never actually responded to the casting call.

Well, later down the road, I had actually casted another wizard.

But he ended up having a family emergency and he had to step down from the film just a couple weeks before we needed to start filming.

And that led me to go back to that passing call where somebody had mentioned Barry Clifton because earlier I hadn't thought much about it just because he himself didn't show interest.
