Barry Black

Everything went down.

And I remember late in the morning on January the 7th, the chaplain, Barry Black, took the floor and prayed.

And he prayed about the dysfunction and he prayed for unity and he prayed for God to prevail.

And it just brought such peace to me in the most chaotic of moments.

You know, I know preachers who stopped hurricanes when they was having a tent effort and they went the other way.

You know, Barry Black tells a story that when he prayed for the Holy Ghost, after a few months, his wife came to him.

They had been married 40 years.

His wife came to him and said, what happened to you? He said, whatever happened to you, I want it to happen to me.

I think a few of them are still alive.

I don't know if Barry Black is still alive.

I heard he was still alive a couple of years ago, like almost 100, like 90-something years old.

But you could get him to tell the story, but only a little bit.
