And the Celts were also heavily engaged with ideas of the cosmic, orienting their dead towards the setting sun and the western house of Don, the Lord of the Dead.

Likewise, believing that the soul's destruction was impossible, death was merely an intermission in an ongoing cycle of tribal life.
