Funny enough, your cold water fisher guys, right? Barramundi, Murray cod, like even mulloway.

Those sorts of fishermen are, are quite skilled.

The guys that dedicate to those species, they're, they're quite skilled fishermen.

If you weren't sleeping till 3 o'clock in the afternoon, you would know that they've got ads running all day.

Now, I've got a question for you about the Barramundi in a moment.

But first of all, you've done this trip, you've gone north, you've gone south.

We had a fellow ring us actually during the car show last night.

And sort of speaking about, you've often sort of spoken about like Michaels and why you love that because you grew up on it.

Well, Flatty Tales are delicious and Baramundi is delicious.

We always grew up eating flake, which is a shark.

I'm a bit more at ease if I see a Highland Cow than a snake, but there's more spiders I'm not a big fan of.

Have you ever tried Vegemite on toast? Have you tried Barramundi? Have you tried any of the Australian delicacies that have been on offer?

i have tried some of the um the local australian fish which i thought was great um i've also tried that biscuit tim tams not quite sure what all the fuss is about and as for vegemite on toast i'm afraid it's marmite all the way for me i'll stick with that

And whether or not that has problems really depends on the particular fishery.

From what I've seen, mostly that's being used in the Barramundi fishery.

It's a highly sustainable fishery.

And so quite often the choices that we make in the Barramundi fishery in terms of management are more around how the fishery is shared among recreational fishers.

rather than whether it's a sustainable fishery or not.

So it is an important consideration.

But the tagging program, and particularly in the Daly River, it is a really important data set to understand the recapture rates, the growth of fish, the correlation between the strength of the wet season and the recruitment of fish in that given year and the growth of those fish, fish movement.

And having recreational fishers involved in that is a really, really important thing that we can do.
