Barbara Ellis

Well, Barbara and I had been playmates when we were five years old, living in South Olympia, Olympia being the capital of Washington.

For my freshman year, uh, I was bused into the city and went to Washington Junior High School, and I auditioned there and became a cheerleader, and lo and behold, Barbara Ellis also was a cheerleader there.

And so that's how we reunited, um, nine years later.

Barbara came over to Olympia High School and she said, "I wanna sing with you again." Because we had been song leaders, cheerleaders, and we had been in glee club together.
