... to the park because they were gonna be part of the opening festivities.

And there were also musicians there.

Um, so there were, it was a really big hoopla.

So the guest relations department had the honor of, um, being the hostess and host for a lot of the former astronauts.

And so we spent a few days with them to, you know, pick them up from the hotel and just spend the whole day with them and go over, you know, they were obviously having a great time in the park, but they were also, you know, rehearsing what their part was going to be in the opening.

And, um, I had, uh, the family of Gus Grissom.
