Bar Harbor

So we did stop by the King house and some haunts in, in the afternoon.

We spent most of our time in Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, which is only, like, an hour away.

Yeah.

Yeah.

So I was able to get down there for the very final day of the exhibitor hall and was stoked to see a bunch of you down there.

I'm also looking forward to seeing some of you at the Encore Symposium's fall conference in Bar Harbor, Maine in October.

So that's coming up next month.

And then in November, I'm going to head out to Oahu, Hawaii with Encore.

She regarded the glittering flow of Fifth Avenue on a winter afternoon with as much ineptness, as much exteriority, as much with the feeling that here was an exhilarating panorama spread before her whereof she did not understand the workings and with which she had no concern, as a washerwoman carrying her clothes basket might regard it.

In the sweltering summer days she saw the houses close one by one, and was vaguely reminded that the owners had flown in their brave plumage to Newport, to Bar Harbor, or were filling the hotels at cool and mountainous European places.

But it did not occur to her to envy their luck.

She only thought that she herself was lucky when with her husband and the children on a Sunday morning she, poor tired woman, could escape from the stifling town on board some cheap overcrowded excursion boat, and with the sounds of a merciless band dinning her ears which she was to carry in her head for three or four days after, go down the bay to some dreadful vulgar Coney Island, a very hell of noise and glare and horror, yet scarcely perceived as such, or as anything except as a heavenly change from the everlasting Twenty-second Street.

i'd love to go back we did it when i was younger and i enjoyed it but now that like i'm older and if i went with my dad especially we'd go hiking and it'd be cool is the smokies we did that when i was younger and i loved it i almost did that i december i don't know that i'd love it in december but it'd be a good like

And then after I graduated, I started with Ocean Properties at the front desk at our Regency Hotel in 1987.

Where was that? Bar Harbor.

It was in Bar Harbor.
