And so he said, "Ayad khulu ba'di anna?" "Oh, messenger of Allah, shall I ju-just be content with a piece of my heart going to the fire of hell by not believing in Allah, not believing in you, not believing in the Quran?" "Wana andr," and I should just be okay with that? And so that's when this verse was revealed, Fakh- Fakhallahumma, and then from that point on forward, he basically stopped coercing them and forcing them.

And in another narration, uh, in the Sunan of Imam An-Nasa'i and Abu Dawood, also narrated by Ibn Abbas, it mentions, "Falamma ujliyat Banu Nadir," that there was the incident that occurred in the third year of Hijrah that Banu Nadir, which was-- or the fourth year of Hijrah, excuse me, Banu Nadir, that was a Jewish tribe that lived right outside of Medina or on the outskirts of Medina, they had violated and broken the treaty of Medina.

They committed treason.

They tried to assassinate the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.

So you're referring to a specific Hadith which I'm not fam-familiar with.

I'm unable to, to, you know, reflect on which exact Hadith you are referring to in which you say that the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said that, "Do not store food." Uh, Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, uh, it comes in a narration the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam used to sell the dates of the garden of Banu Nadir and store for his family so much food as would cover their needs for a whole year.

Uh, [speaking Arabic] So the prohibition for hoarding is referred to those items which are crucial to human livelihood, such as food items.

And the Fuqaha also explained that this prohibition of hoarding is related to those things which serve as a means of livelihood of people and whose hoarding would otherwise cause harm to the general masses.

The Meccans actually won it, and he was gravely wounded.

He then realized the Jews had not supported him, so he took the Banu Nadir and threw them out of Medina.

Two years later, we had a se- a third battle, and this was the Battle of the Trenches.

Neither side won, and so he went to the Jews that remaining, the last remaining Jewish tribe, the Banu Qurayza family, the largest family.

Now, there were three Jewish tribes in Medina, and they did not like each other.

Intertribal warfare, the Banu Kwanuka, Banu Nadir, Banu Kereza.

Banu means clan or tribe.

And so they let Muhammad in, and he goes into the minority neighborhoods.

Long before the prophet's mission began, he had told the Banu Nadir about him, and then he passed away there.

When he said those words, two brothers, Usaid and Salaba, were also there and heard him clearly.

And now, they ignored the call of those two brothers.

Although the Muslim community was growing day by day, there were still several Jewish tribes around the city.

And one of them was the Banu Nadir, a wealthy and powerful tribe who were descendants of Harun .

They lived in strong fortresses along the road to Mecca, about two hours distance from Medina.

They had a treaty with the Messenger of Allah .

Especially after the Battle of Uhud, they strengthened their ties with the idolaters and the hypocrites even more.

Because of this and many other incidents, the Prophet was watchful of them.

To see how loyal the Banu Nadir were to the treaty of Medina, the Prophet set out with some of his companions.

When they arrived at the tribe's settlement, the Jews welcomed him warmly at first.

That was the reason they had chosen to live there.

They were divided into three tribes, Banu Qaynuqa, Banu Quraiza, and Banu Nadir.

When the Messenger of Allah, Alayhis Salatu Was Salaam, arrived in Medina, the population of the city was around 10,000, and about 40% of them were Jews.

Even though they were a minority, they were more powerful than the Arabs, especially in trade and politics, as well as in many other areas.

Unprecedented battle tactics, a very challenging preparation process, and betrayals.

So who would win this time? Would the Mushrikun finally achieve their goal? The Jewish tribe of Banu Nadir had been expelled from Medina as punishment for their betrayal.

Some of them went to Sham, while others settled in Khaybar.

Khaybar had a larger Jewish population than any other region.

Then they gained the support of the Ahabbish tribe, and the tribes allied with them as well.

With all these groups combined, their forces reached nearly 4,000 men.

And after securing the support of the tribes around Medina, the Banu Nadir and the Quraysh eventually gathered a massive army of 10,000 men.

We must not be fooled.

May Allah be pleased with her.

According to a narration, the Holy Prophet Muhammad said to her, to Hazrat Safiyyah, may Allah be pleased with her, that I free you.

If you wish, marry me or if you prefer, return to your tribe.

When Trump says things like, I'm going to nuke Iran, I'm going to obliterate them from the earth.

You have that example, who's just, again, fueling anger, violence.

And then you have the example of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, who was backstabbed by the Banu Quraidah and the Banu Nadir multiple times.

He had every right to annihilate them.
