I've had my baby rock 'n' roll bands, and I've seen by this point, you know, 3,000 or 4,000 sets of music in The Channel and The Rat and Storyville and Jack's and, you know, uh, uh, so many of the other, uh, Boston clubs, but I've never worked a high-end show.

When you started at Fidelity, there were how many major banks in downtown Boston? Way too many merchants.

Bank of Boston, Bank of New England, Merchant, Shawmut, A-Banks, all gone.

Then you went to Texas during the Texas bust.

All the banks, except for like two, got wiped out.

I was advised by the vice president of the Bank of Boston to invest a large sum in a company called Aquablast.

And he was able to show me papers proving that the bank themselves had invested large sums in Aquablast.

Uh, sorry, not the Ro- the, the Bank of Boston.

Not the Royal Bank of Boston.

The Bank of Boston, a vice president.

I didn't realize that the word vice president didn't mean a damn thing.

There are hundreds of vice presidents.

okay yeah i'll give a brief uh background uh um The, but my first day after being a Frenchly minted, uh, MBA was, uh, I worked, uh, at, at bank of Boston on, in their treasury rotation program.

I rotated.

quickly out of the program into the Mortgage Backed Securities desk, which was just starting up at Bank of Boston.

This is 1987.

My first day on the desk was Black Monday, where I think the stock market dropped 25%.

there are instructions on that in the proxy statement as to how that, I guess it's in the annual report, too, that describes how to do it.

But basically, you get in touch with the Bank of Boston to do that and proceed from there.

Or if you have your shares with a broker, you would instruct your broker to do it.
