But Banjo-Kazooie is a game that we talked a great length about, so I won't go into too much detail here.
J

But it being tied with Banjo-Tooie, I think, is also really intuitive because they are so similar.

Because there is a bit of a weirdness to Banjo-Kazooie.
E
12:12Eric GillesHOST
If you've never played Banjo-Kazooie, there are some genuinely, in Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie, there are some genuinely fucked up things in that game.
E
12:22Eric GillesHOST
Like the fact that Gruntilda in Banjo-Tooie is just a skeleton.

Evercade Nexus Review: This is the One
B
2:27BanPANELIST
So I would say it's... about as good of a review as i could get for it with that time and yes i i will say i saw the comment about it games on the evercade are emulated but at the same time they're made with the evercade in mind so it's like emulated but built for this platform.
R
2:53RobHOST
And the interesting thing about that, in particular with the Nexus launch and the carts that are coming out end of this month, the Doom Collection and the Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie Collection, those are actually not emulated.
R
3:07RobHOST
Those are built for the Evercade.
R
3:09RobHOST
And it's not the first time they've done this.

And I know that some of these projects are like open source and the way that vibe coding has interfered with like work on certain things has been really detrimental.
H
14:31HarryHOST
I know that there are a lot of problems with the Banjo-Tooie recomp, which was like in progress and then finished by vibe coding, but apparently parts of it are fundamentally broken.
H

Yeah.
H

And it's been increasingly cool things happening, including the latest thing where they got Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie on a cartridge on their full native widescreen ports even.
J
5:04John LinnemanHOST
But one of my complaints with the Evercade ecosystem for a long time has been, well, the cheapness of it.
J
5:12John LinnemanHOST
