Bangkok United F.C.

Um, but like to give Persib credit, like we, we go back to even like the ACL2 of last year.

They, they tough- topped a very tough group last year, uh, that featured, you know, Bangkok United.

I think Lion City Sailors were in that group as well, along with Selangor.

So like you're talking about a, a team that's been there and done it, you know, uh, in especially in the group stages of this competition last year were very competitive.

The wonderfully named Old Blood FC, it sounds like something out of an H- HBO TV series.

Old Blood FC play True Bangkok FC.

If you merge the two teams together, you get True Blood.

[laughs] Well done.

And also it's a much smaller ground, which would have suited it fine.

But to get to Tamasat Raqsin, which is where the ground was, is actually Bangkok United's home ground, or it was until then.

that started this year where even Bangkok United have started sharing the ground with BG Patum United now and the training ground.

So it's actually, it's in the university grounds.

It's, you know, it's like a Japanese type football stadium with only one and a half roofs and a big running track around it.

So they've obviously been strengthening a little bit to police terror.

And Pichaya Kongsui, a midfielder, moved from Bangkok United to Muang Thong.

I was surprised how few late moves there were in the transfer window, because you look at somewhere like the UK, which really builds up that they do TV programs for the end of the transfer window.

If we did a TV program in Thailand, it would last about one minute.

This means a T2 debut for Rivaldino Jr., who is the son of who, Phil? Oh, I've forgotten.

He's the son of Rivaldo.

The 31-year-old Rivaldino is on loan from Bangkok United, previously played with Qingdao Red Lions, and then in January 2026 made his first move to Thailand with Bangkok United.

His dad's now 54, best known for five years at Barcelona from 1997 to 2002. played in the World Cup for Brazil in 1998 and 2002.
