Ballyronan

This is actually one of the places where I would have swam at and before the blue-green algae mcgeddon you know.

I ran a group in Ballyronan for about five years of open water swimmers and this is one of the spots that we would come to because it's a nice safe spot to get in to easy access.

You can have a dip or you can swim right up to the canal gates which I think we're going to have a look at today because as far as I know things are a lot worse up there, bad and all as they are here, I think things are worse up there.

When was the last time you were able to swim in the water here?

I just want to have a wee nosey.

I haven't been up at this in a while.

The first year of this, I spent my time going from Cranfield to Ballyronan to here, because that was the three spots that my group swam at.

And I spent my time going between the three of them, just monitoring
