Ballykelly

I'll go through here briefly.

We have Rhys Doherty from Ballykelly.

We have Alistair Donaghy from Six Mile Cross.

We have Julian Dorman from Dublin.

So when I think about 1988, uh, I think about the Lisburn bus bomb, where six soldiers were killed, uh, after a fun run, uh, a Semtex bomb underneath their vehicle.

And then we get to the Ballykelly bus bomb months later.

Uh, and eight soldiers, I- if I'm recalling it correctly, were killed.

Uh, a bomb exploded, uh, at the roadside, uh, when their, their bus was taking them to barracks.

And she goes, "Yes, yes, definitely, definitely come.

We'll be work buddies again." And that was, uh, I left a radiotherapy, uh, treatment on a Thursday morning, and I drove to the hospital in Ballykelly, where I had an interview.

And I sat down in the interview, and they said, "Are, are you ready?" And I went, "Yes, I'm fine." And then they asked me the first question, and I just sat and looked at them and said, "Do you know I'm gonna need a minute?" [chuckles] And I had to stop and close my eyes, and I thought, in that minute I'm going, "How do I get out of here, like, really quickly?" You know?

Mm-hmm.

So whether you use it in the south of Ireland, all public, uh, all private medical insurances from the Republic are acceptable in the Kingsbridge Group.

So whatever it is, VHI, Laya, Level Health, Irish Life, whoever it is, we also accept the Guards and, and the prison service, and so there's connections with all of the, the, uh, providers, so you can use those in, um, Kingsbridge in any of the group.

But because we've hospitals in Ballykelly, two in Belfast, and one in Newry, and then we also have a hospital in Sligo, but it is now being under, uh, it's being restructured so that it's going to be, um, uh, for endoscopies and cancer diagnosis-

used to go up and down the city, up Shipby Street, down Shipby Street with a music player, and you name it, I was doing it, right? And I remember one time that I wanted to go and get my car done up, you know, and I went down to Ballykelly.

Ballykelly's not far from here.

It's about maybe a 30 to 25-minute drive from here.

So I says to my friend, Davey, Davey, Me and you go down to Ballykelly.

It's a boy, David Snodgrass, my earlier years.
