Ballybay

A blow-in is what you're, what people refer to you as if you're not born and bred.

Now, I have, um, Irish heritage 'cause my grandmother was born in, uh, Monaghan in a place called Ballybay.

And if you wanna know, it was a little, um...

The, the, her house was called Kadoola, so Kadoola, Ballybay in Monaghan, which was in the, uh, sort of in the Midlands.

If you travel from the west coast, uh, the north Sligo over to Dublin, it's sort of about, uh, 2/3 of the way over, Monaghan.

And, um, she was lovely, my grandmother.

As you can see there, it's too far away for me to see that distance.

But you can sort of see right down this sort of east side We've been in Ballybay, Castle Blaney.

We as a church in Katy were able to make that happen and make those connections there.

All the way right away down to Yall in Cork.

And we remember going to Rockcurry to train a week before the final.

We played Bally Bay.

Paul Finlay had been missing the first day we played them.

And the second day he was back and we beat them.

He doesn't know where he's from or where he's going.
