Baco noir

Chardonnay and Oaked and for white, that's in the LCBO, that's one of our more popular wines for sure because it's a more aromatic, fruity, fresh kind of style Chardonnay made in a drier style.

And then I would say Baco Noir for red is another one of our top selling wines.

But yeah, I guess right after Cab Sauve would be the peach wine still.

And with the Cab Sauve that you have at Costco and the like, does that have the expectation that it's going to have to pretty much taste the same every year as well? Or is that something different that you have more freedom to?

Two grape varieties are grown there that I had never heard of before, partly because they're mainly found in that particular region.

On one hand, there's Baco Noir, a red wine grape, and on the other, the white grape called Vidal.

The Baco Noir I tasted was light bodied, or 13%, with mild tannins, no especially pronounced nose, and notes of sweet cherry.

Vidal is a very hardy variety that can withstand light frost.

It produces a high sugar content, and is therefore known for the famous ice wine of Niagara-on-the-Lake.
