Uh, McCartney described it as being more about the feeling and groove to the writing of the song than actual cons- constructed lyrics or music.

Which is kind of, I think, arrives to the uniqueness of how this song was built.

Unlike much of the, uh, Back to the Egg, Arrow Through Me leans heavily towards funk and sophisticated pop rather than straight rock.

A lot of the album is straight up rock.

But yeah, the final question for you, Luca would be your final assessment of the album.

And more specifically, do you see this album as like, The beginning of the wings decline, because, you know, there was a best of and then back to the egg.

And that was it.

Was this the beginning of the wings decline? Or do you look at this more as a moment when the band became most creatively interesting and something you want you would have liked to see more of?

But creatively speaking or arrangement-wise and stuff, it's an album which, I mean, for me, it's...

I love Wings as a bit of sound, but if I have to choose between Wings as a bit of sound and London Town, I would choose London Town.

Back to the Egg is just...

I mean, it's not a great album.

There's a couple that maybe I don't like as much today as I did then.

But McCartney II, I didn't see that coming, coming after Back to the Egg, which was such a heavy album.

Um, and I don't recall the studio version of Coming Up having much of a impact on me, 'cause nine times out of 10, I probably was hearing the live Wings version on the radio more.

So that's how you can see that...

You know, the Beatles still had an effect upon us.

But if you're trying to make an album that sounds like the 80s, you don't harken back to the 30s.

30s my guy that's a huge mistake i wonder what capital executives thought paul's back in their fold after being on columbia since um back to the egg and this is the first album he gives them they must seen the cover been horrified it's the 80s equivalent of seeing john's dong and yoko's lady

You know how I feel about this record.

There's some things that work extremely well, but as a timepiece, Paul has so many albums in the 70s, and you blink, and it's every year, year and a half.

You go Band on the Run, Venus and Mars, Speed of Sound, and then you get London Town Back to the Egg.

80s are more sporadic.
