Bachelorette Weekend

I had to get back on a plane to Sydney and just to have this conversation.

So over the last couple of days it was confirmed that Kylie Jenner is headlining, that kind of means starring in, and executive producing Bachelorette Weekend, a new thriller drama that has got a straight to series order at Hulu, according to Deadline.

Straight to series order, big deal.

Basically they're like, "You guys make it, and we will buy it, and we will run it." And this precarious TV time, that is a big deal.

Kylie Jenner in her first big starring role.

I love the premise.

I think that sounds like a fun, campy, sexy time, and, like, the thriller vibe of it.

I...

Lastly on our quick headlines, Kylie Jenner is getting a show on Hulu.

Um, it's a thriller called The Bachelorette Weekend.

She's gonna star, and she, I believe, is executive producing along with Kim Kardashian and some other studio folks.

But will you be watching?

The Bachelorette Weekend.

Yeah, I don't think we've ever seen her act.

Scripted thriller.

I mean, scripted, so we shall see.

It's based on an unpublished novel by Flora Collins, written by Laura Oliver.

It follows a bachelorette weekend that takes a very dark turn when the bride, played by Kylie, ends up murdered in a pool.

Kylie will also be executive producing the project alongside her sister Kim, who first read the script and thought that Kylie would be the best fit for the actress in this role.

Kylie Jenner's about to give Timothée Chalamet a run for his money because she just secured her first major acting role.

So I don't know if you guys remember, but Kylie Jenner posted a photo dump a few months ago, and at the end of the dump, it was a photo of her reading a script.

So the book is out there already.

It's called Bachelorette.

How can I say that word? Bachelorette.

Weekend.

Yeah.

And then she decided she wants to executive produce it, which means, you know, her fellow is Timothee Chalamet.

Timothee Chalamet, Bachelorette.

Yeah.

[upbeat music] Kylie Jenner just landed her first major acting role.

Uh, Kylie will star in Bachelorette Weekend, a new Hulu thriller series about a bachelorette weekend that turns deadly when Kylie's character is found dead.

[laughs] Oh, so sad.

So... [laughs]
