Bachelor of Science in Paramedicine

So that accountant did a really good job, you know, serving on the board of that, you know, volunteer rescue squad and helping us not go bankrupt, right? Uh, and, and you can imagine how that would, um, um, you know, be helpful to our profession if that was kind of replicated at scale.

So, you know, one of the other concepts in this idea of, uh, degree requirements or degree standards is, you know, there's, there's s- different perspectives on should we be going for a EMS-specific degree, or should we be, uh, entertaining people being able to pursue other degrees? And, and, uh, I, you know, I think the ideal version of this would be an undergraduate degree focused on preparing you for clinical practice, so basically, uh, you know, Associate of Science in Paramedicine, Bachelor of Science in Paramedicine.

But then, you know, I do wanna see the creation of paramedic practitioners, so paramedic specialists who can operate at that practitioner level and are prepared academically to do so.

But we also need paramedics out there to get the accounting degrees, the teaching degrees, the, uh, public administration degrees, public health degrees.
