Bachalpsee

We'll talk about that a little bit later.

But we did a hike to an area called like Bachalpsee.

Of course, forgive the pronunciation.

This was a four-mile out and back.

Huge views in front of you and tons of opportunities to take pictures or to simply enjoy the majesty of what you're looking at.

After we did the cliff walk, it was time to hike about an hour towards something called Bachalpsee.

And we really weren't in a hurry.

We, we did lose one person along the way.

But this hike is not about getting anywhere quickly.

There are tons of people doing this hike, and you're walking through the mountains and through some meadows.

The peaks are all around you, the landscape's changing, and eventually you catch a glimpse of Bachalpsee and you know that you're very, very close.

Now, I've probably seen hundreds of pictures of Switzerland, but none of them prepared me for being there.

Both are free to visit, so you can enjoy them before deciding what you want to do the rest of the day.

For a scenic walk, I would recommend to do the hike to Bachalpsee, which takes just under an hour in each direction.

On a calm day, the surrounding peaks are reflected beautifully in the lake, and my advice is to leave time to sit and enjoy it rather than treating it as a quick photo stop.

If you're in the mood for more adrenaline, the First Flyer is one option for a journey down to Schreckfeld.

So there's no light pollution or anything, and it's a feeling that you only can have at, at a high mountain.

And the next morning, it is possible to start early for a hike, so you are alone on the treks.

So if you want do the Bachalpsee hike on your own without a lot of visitors, then it would be the best time to start after a night in the Berghaus First.
