Babe Didrikson Zaharias

I'm gonna go to a couple comments really quick here.

Uh, Cage says, "The real Babe people don't know." We are looking at the Babe Didrikson.

Uh, I just saw on the back, uh, her first name's actually Mildred.

Mildred Babe Didrikson.

I think I, I hope I'm saying that correctly.

Uh-

I would have t- I would have loved to have one that looks like this as a Satchel page.

So I'm just saying, like, it doesn't...

Uh, it would be nine years later that the Texas Open would be held with, uh, at, at that time, a record $5,000 purse.

And, uh, within a generation, Texas was producing great golf professionals like Ben Hogan, Byron Nelson, Jimmy Demaret, Babe Zaharias, and the list goes on.

All right, now we'll come to the segment I call the 19th Hole.

I'll tell you how to go see some of the places I mentioned in the episode.
