Baba House

So yeah, that was my first entry.

And then how did that kind of like build up all the way to becoming the honorary founding curator of NUS Baba House in 2007? Yeah,

so you know, all these dots join up in a crazy way.

So that experience with Rumour Baba led me to Baba House, you know.

And so at that time for research, thankfully my father came from an old Malacca Pranakan family, which the useful thing about that was that he was connected to a lot of other families.

So when I needed pictures of old houses, he just called all his friends and relatives, you know, all these people from that generation.

So for that project, it was amazing to tap on my father's contacts to get all these amazing pictures of interiors.

I mean, even now, they're really hard to find.
