put myself on mute no no i just want to try to make sure that i remember all the points that you're asking about uh i think uh i think that uh as all of us do we have to mature into the place where we understand how important family legacy is.

I think being to this on this day, I often say a friend of mine share with me a phrase of one of my major responsibility as a husband is to serve my wife.

And I think Julia will attest to the fact that I honor black women in our community.

And that's because my mother was such a gracious and great example in my own life.

And so my dad set a great example as a father and as a husband, and does not mean that marriages don't have challenges.

I had one of my younger congregants, the people I pastor, let me say that I have been pastoring, them for 22 years, but I've known them for 50.

that something yeah is that something that you know think about that please that we'd love to have that kind of collaboration

How do others see it with a different experience?

Well, I can't I can't speak for all of us, but I can say that in my experience in the African-American community is that we take the ladder that it was established.

It has been seen as a day off, an opportunity to be with family and to spend time with family, but not necessarily celebrate the freedom of America.

And I don't think that I know for me, let me speak for me personally, I appreciate the freedoms that we have here in this country.

And I appreciate the fact that there is more opportunity here than I believe in other countries in the world today.

And sometimes that's hard to see if you've never been out of the country, you've never been experienced, uh, the, uh, the, the lifestyles and the opportunities that are available to others in other countries.

Uh, because, you know, African American is unique for us because, uh, we were, um, we, we, our ancestors didn't really immigrate here.
