Azurite

These designations reflect how deeply humans have come to cherish certain crystals, how they represent places and people and identity.

Azurite is known for its exceptionally deep and clear blue colour.

During antiquity, azurite was ground into powder and used as a popular painting pigment.

Artists carried this mineral with them, using its blue to create masterpieces that lasted centuries.
