Az Compass Prep School

These kids don't do anything.

The game between Southeastern Prep and AZ Compass was intense for a preseason game.

Beckham pushing kids, kids pushing Beckham, dudes clapping each other's faces.

I don't know what the relationship was like between Demarcus Henry and CJ Rosser, but they were definitely competing.

You give yourself an opportunity.

You leave with more confidence.

You know what I'm saying? Like, again, not on the rundown, but Zion Green from the AZ Compass.

You can't tell me he didn't lead that game against Southeastern Prep.

So, like, I, I have Made Hoops preseason top 25, not, you know ...

So they had Spire, Prolific, Monarch, IMG, SEPA, uh, AZ Compass, La La Mere, Dynamic Prep, Bella Vista, Montverde.

That's just the top 10.

And then you have Iowa United, Masters Academy, Sierra Canyon, blah, blah, blah, blah, and it goes down.

Yeah.

Yeah.

AZ Compass?

Nike-

But-

Like, if you go watch the AZ Compass film, like, specifically at, at Chipotle when, you know, when, when we were all in Indie.

Yep.

Like, he's just getting after guys and, like-

I think he's gonna play.

I mentioned Westry.

You said AZ Compass.

Right? So I'm like, that was, like, 2021.

He played at Lakeside High School, but he has since transferred to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

So often when we talk about these like basketball factory schools, a lot of them are in Arizona like Compass Prep.

where Davis Fogle played or Prolific Prep is in California, even Link Academy where Luca Foster plays in Missouri.

But there's a lot of these in Florida as well.

It's also the same club that Davis Fogle played at.

Fogle played for Seattle Select, turned some heads playing there.

That ended up allowing him to transfer to Compass Prep, had a really good senior year playing at a higher level of high school basketball.

And I think that had a huge role in helping him be prepared to take on obviously a much bigger role than anticipated as a freshman at Gonzaga.

They play in the Nike EYBL Scholastic Circuit.

And that is with the likes of Montverde, Oak Hill, La Lumiere, Link Academy, AZ Compass Prep.

Just wagons of high school teams out there, guys.

The coach knows his thing or two about basketball.

And yeah, Brewster's schedule, uh, a, a little more difficult than your local MHSAA school schedule.

They played on the Nike EYBL circuit and this includes the schools like Montverde, Oak Hill, La Lumiere over in Indiana, Link Academy, AZ Compass Prep.

I mean, guys, the Nike EYBL Scholastic circuit might as well just be another college mid-major conference.

Uh, it- that is some real hoops going on over there.

He's 6'7", 6'8", about 200 pounds, lefty.

He's from Arizona Compass Prep.

He's the matter day transfer.

He's a top five kid in the class all across the board.

Cow Force One, whatever you want to call it, was on the move.

And Arkansas had coaches out at AZ Compass Prep to see DeMarcus Henry on Wednesday, which is very, very interesting to me because that recruitment, as we said, I guess it was yesterday or the day before, it's kind of been quieting it down on the Arkansas front in terms of the smoke out there the last week to 10 days or so.

Uh, but that gets put to bed pretty quickly when John Calipari pulls up and, you know, there's picks that were, uh, AZ, you know, cop is prep, put it out themselves of Cal and DeMarcus Henry, hugging it out there.

And, he had chin Coleman with him.
