But how's it gone so far? I mean, the first journey was a little bit ropey with the route it took you through woodlands and whatnot on your city bike.

Yeah, it was a hard, it was always going to be a hard trip to Aylesford, which is near Maidstone in Kent, so that part of the country is very much not flat and not always, there isn't always an obvious route by road.

And as I explained in my blog, I'd had such a busy few weeks that I hadn't had time to sit down and plan a route, so I'd ask Google Maps to do it for me.

And Google Maps is fantastic, but it's not fantastic if you're doing a long distance cycle.
