And so, Dr. Finn, could you please share a little bit about how you approach treating patients with the intravitreal VEGF inhibitors, particularly through step therapy requirements?
20:36
Sure.
20:37
You know, as we've all discussed, it is complex.
20:42
And one of the most important things to me is when I have a patient in front of me with a site threatening vision issue like new neovascular AMD with a retinal hemorrhage, the most important thing to me is getting anti-VEGF on board and getting anti-VEGF on board in a really timely manner, which to me is the same day that I see that patient.

Of course, cost and authorization and insurance plays into this.
21:12
And it's really important that we navigate this so that our patient's aren't left with a huge bill.
21:18
But what I find is if I want to get something on board quickly, oftentimes that is Bevacizumab at that first injection because many payers do not require prior authorization for Bevacizumab.

What kind of opportunities do we have for collaboration between payers and providers to address those disparities in treatment initiation and access?
