Avnet

Number one, there is a group in my system called the electronics contract manufacturers, and we're just letting you know maybe they're bottoming.

A name like Avnet, which is electronic parts, that thing looks ready to break out to highs.

If it breaks above one hundred, it would be a cl- beautiful looking breakout.

And by the way, it hit just below a hundred by eight cents earlier, and it's ninety-eight and a half right now.

And every one of them needs a brain that survives a decade in the field.

Today, I am joined by Ralf Kapanke from Tria Technologies and Frank Nehlen from Avnet Silica.

When you talk about power, you know, power green pack, you really have to start more on the power management side of things.

So our customers typically, you know, you out there, for example, who may be listening in, you know, probably select your power components going on to, I don't know, maybe a DigiKey, Mouser, some kind of catalog distributor, Avnet, Aero, you know, we have quite a lot, right? But you go on there kind of, just searching the 10,000 or so parts that are out there, trying to find the exact one to your requirements.

And then, you know, just you'd have to design with it.

You'd have to put it on your board to prototype with it.

So Rodney is kind of on the board of PayPal and Granger and UPS and everything.

you know, chairman of Avnet and a whole bunch of other things.

He happens to be one of the founders of the chapter at my fraternity at Georgia Tech.

And so I was able to see that very, very early on.

Or the more important piece is even if you're going directly to the, um, downstream suppliers that are de- delivering the components to you.

So it might be distributing companies like Arrow and Avnet, DigiKey, but also directly the manufacturers of components, Texas Instruments, uh, you name it, and then also the PCB suppliers potentially, so the board suppliers.

And here you can run all your procurement efforts, so the, the sourcing, the negotiations, the awarding.

Um, you can do that all to lock in your vendors who you wanna work with.

cared so much about the location.

I think... that as long as you get it to me in time, now, you know, you go back 40 years in the early days of Just In Time, when I was trying to make it happen at a semiconductor company with limited success, you know, you wanted to have Avnet and Arrow next door to do the distribution of components.

We had a lady work for Arrow down the hallway that we could get, we could order from to make sure.

So we needed close, but over time we kind of let that be a global thing and let the logistics folks and whoever kind of managed that and, and just make sure we have it when we need it.

It's in electronic components and design and engineering.

It has some AI and data center involvement, a PE of 8.34, EPS 31, great accumulation, and a dividend of 1.40, and the name of the stock is Avnet.

Yeah.

Boy, you are so smart.

I'm glad you brought it to my attention.

I cannot believe how low the PE is.

But then again, a lot of people feel that the move is about to end at any given moment, and that's what's wrong with Avnet, which really isn't wrong.
