18:55Nicky BrennanCORRESPONDENT
Earlier we had the big news from Castlebar with Liam Kelly-Rourke and Tommy Hackett that Evergreen were 3-1 winners in the FAI Junior Cup that defeated Castlebar Celtic and they're now in the FAI Junior Cup final.
N
19:06Nicky BrennanCORRESPONDENT
I think that's generally played at the Aviva Stadium.
N
19:08Nicky BrennanCORRESPONDENT
Not sure who they're playing but I'm sure Liam will have all that news for us.

when Pat contacts them after 6 o'clock for an update on that particular match as Len Moore move out with the ball here, a good run by Ben Maher, the captain of the team, but his shot only goes as far as Cahal O'Leary, Cahal O'Leary, that ball goes into the number 15, that's Sean Cahalan, and that's a magnificent, that's probably the point of the day from Sean Cahalan from just under the stand here, a really good score by Cahalan to make it, 14 points to one goal and 11.
As Leo Cullen prepares for his final season in charge, why haven't Leinster strengthened?

I was gonna joke with Gordon about, you know, you look at the size of the, the Ulster center partnership, whether, you know, if it is to be Stu McCloskey and Jude Postlethwaite.
J
19:58John O'SullivanPANELIST
Um, uh, I was walking through the car park up in the Aviva Stadium and I bumped into Jude Postlethwaite and he is enormous.
J
20:06John O'SullivanPANELIST
Like six foot four, six foot five, and you forget that he's a center.
J
20:11John O'SullivanPANELIST
He could easily pass for, for somebody who plays in the second row.

It's a sellout of 71,000 and it's all kind of leading towards the 2031 World Cup in the USA and they're trying to sell the game of rugby to the American people, which they've been trying to do for the last probably 20, 30 years really.
D
39:52Dara Smith-NaughtonPANELIST
And it's been promised as this great game that it's it's it's the best parts of american football it's faster and all this and i'm not sure what the buy-in is yet the success of soldier field for ireland and new zealand and then baltimore this weekend would suggest it's growing um and we have a good relationship with american rugby as well a lot of our players that um may not be cut out for maybe irish international people go over and try their hand over in the mlr and have great success over there but yeah i i Kevin Potts the CEO Irish rugby CEO was shooting it down fairly quickly in that one there's the commercial side of it that all games will have to take place in the Aviva Stadium in the Six Nations all home games but I think there's a sentiment of no one wants that because I don't think you should be making Irish fans it's different when it's a one off game against New Zealand like that in Soldier Field but if you're there's the fan yeah it's a competitive game but it's bringing the fans over where it should be a home game you only get a certain amount of home games in Six Nations and that's one of them you shouldn't have to be travelling for that but then it's also the cost of travel for the players and the staff there's so much that goes into it so I don't think it makes sense and I'm glad they've shut it down to be honest

Now coming up for you today, could the Ireland men's team move a Six Nations game out of the Aviva Stadium to the US in the near future? Will the Ireland women's team be back at the Aviva against England or France in next year's Six Nations? And England head coach Steve Borthwick is set for a contract extension.
C

But first up today, New Zealand have named their team to face South Africa in the final test of their greatest rivalry tour this weekend.

The All Blacks head to the US city of Baltimore, hoping to level the series tomorrow, which the Springboks currently lead 2-1.
C

The counter-argument to that, Gilpin adds, is that it's still Irish and Italian fans getting the chance to watch their team, so they're not just the ones who live in Ireland and Italy on this occasion, but that's a balancing piece we've got to work through.

Now, according to the Irish Independent, the IRFU have released a statement through a spokesperson saying there are no current plans or discussions regarding Six Nations matches being played in the United States.
C
3:55Cameron HillHOST
They also make the point in the paper that the IRFU can't move games out at the Aviva Stadium due to terms in their sponsorship agreement.

Now one person hoping to return to the Aviva this season is Ireland women's captain Erin King.
