And if you're choosing the path of wisdom, what you are going to be doing is waiting, really understanding, really weighing the information before you open your full mouth.

I do want to say as a teacher that a class where students participate is much more rich than a class where students don't participate if the students are actually listening before they participate.

And I think that like Rabbeinu Yonah is essentially saying, if you only have two options, students who interrupt and aren't fully listening, but they're participating, Students who are listening and not participating, you're speaking to a silent class, but they're engaged.

Choose the latter.

I think if you were to like survey the Hadar faculty, people would... fall in different places on the spectrum because I think even a not well thought through question or a not fully formed thought can be like a really helpful in like generating more wisdom in the class.
