So in Bitcoin mining, a mining pool is essentially an accounting database.

It's accounting hash rate and coming to a conclusion on how much you're owed based on the hash rate that you contribute to the pool.

As far as I'm concerned, there's one exception to a single address Coinbase payout, and that's the ocean.

There might be some smaller pools that I'm unaware of that do a similar thing.

But for as long as I've been working in mining, It's always a single address payout and a little Coinbase tag or a pool tag on that indicating who is being paid.
