Avalon

Okay, my next pick, I'm going to go back to the 80s here, the early 80s, 82, with the band Roxy Music.

And their last album is called Avalon.

And I picked the big, big single from this album.

This is More Than This.

So that's how they started with Brian Ferry and Brian Eno, the two Brians there.

And they actually broke up a first time, got back together, and put out a few more albums.

And then Avalon became the last album.

And it's funny.

"Now use your name to the makeup, they're all the same." But also, like, the fact that, like, when he put out Kaputt, um, suddenly there's, like, these references that you're not used to hearing in indie rock that now sound really cool.

You know, there's like, I think that album being cool introduced a lot of people probably to Avalon by Roxy Music.

Um, definitely, like, the Blue Nile and some of that sophisti-pop stuff.

But that's, like, what you can do with mu- Like I ju- I think that's so cool, and it's as effective as, like, a great piece of writing, like, explaining it.
