Avalanche Summit

We were there at the Nasdaq two weeks ago for the listing of Evernorth, which is an XRP treasury company.

A few weeks before that, we were at Avalanche Summit and we spoke to really the who's who from, you know, big regulators, big financial institutions that are now coming on chain and tokenizing assets.

A lot of this wouldn't be possible if we didn't have service providers like Chainlink when it comes to data oracles and feeding high quality information to both crypto native companies like exchanges.

And then, of course, the other way around, this information from our industry to big TradFi players, whether that's NASDAQ, NYSE, these kind of things.

look, we chatted to Chris Giancola at Avalanche Summit.

It must have been about a month ago.

And he kind of said the same thing.

You know, you got to you got to know who you are in life, you know.

But, you know, I think the big message here for Katie Zachariah, everybody listening, don't take yourself that seriously it's okay you know and you can have you can have snafus in your life and you can have ups and downs uh but if you have the right attitude you have a great life i think that's the message

We were across the pond in New York a couple of weeks ago for Avalanche Summit, and we spent a lot of time talking to a lot of people in the know, the likes of former CFTC Chairman Chris Giancarlo, to unpack the news of the Clarity Act kind of stalling in the US Senate two weeks ago.

And we got some really interesting takes there.

But obviously, Coinbase has been quite actively involved um in uh the overall kind of policy push in uh the us and uh here in the uk and uh europe uh with stand with crypto but i want you to tell us a little bit of the story behind that uh starting over in the us obviously this clarity vote has happened i want to know your general thoughts on that um and what you think comes next in the us before we move across to uh discuss some of the the policy here uh this side of the world

I don't want to throw my producer Jordan under the bus here, but he was also pointing fingers and kind of scratching his head here wondering how they're getting such high volumes.

Then our final story, crypto's political machine is flexing.

Weeks after the CLARITY Act, that sweeping crypto market structure bill, stalled in a Senate procedural vote, the Coinbase-backed advocacy group Stand With Crypto has rolled out its first round of Senate endorsements.

The group is backing Republican Senator Jon Husted in Ohio, who's running against crypto skeptic and former Senate Banking Chair Sherrod Brown, plus candidates Ashley Hinson in Iowa and Chris Pappas in New Hampshire.

It's a clear signal the industry plans to spend big and pick sides heading into the midterms after legislation hits a wall on the Hill.
