Avacopan

So first of all, As I mentioned, we like this target, the receptor, very much.

And we actually thought to develop a better drug inasmuch as we spotted some, I would say, opportunities in the profile of Avacopan that could be clearly improved.

And the key issue for us was, can we really target this target and block it close to 100%, which in complement oftentimes in diseases is very important because of the redundancy of the signals.

And while it's a very, very good drug, Avacopan, and I should mention the Zicopan and Avacopan have almost the identical IC50 levels in different, meaning blocking activity in different assays in vitro, the big difference comes when you put it in vivo, so in the human.

because the uptake into the human blood and into the plasma is very slow and may not reach higher levels, easy, with onoclava.

It takes many, many weeks, 13 weeks to reach steady state, for example, in oncovacimitis.

So clearly differentiated, which for us is important to be able to explore full efficacy.

As you mentioned, shortly thereafter now there was this tox signal discovered which was not originally really known so much and we looked further into how the drugs are differentiated.
