Playoffs are near.

The A-ball season is where we're going to start.

They are headed into the playoffs.

Ian, we're going to start just with general thoughts on the A-ball season.

What stands out to you as you reflect on a very busy year for the level?

Yeah, I think that the biggest thing is something that JJ wrote about and you got has been talked about before is the offensive environment and, you know, going to games and seeing it.

Sorry, sorry fans out there that aren't Dodgers fans.

They do have a lot of good prospects.

It's been a fun season for a lot of guys.

I remember a couple of years ago now, I think when you were in AA and we had Justin Armbruster on the show, former Orioles pitching prospect.

And I remember asking him kind of, I think you guys were having a good run down there at the time and asking him like, what's the secret to success? And he called you the pitching wizard and just like lit up.

Talking about what you were able to, you know, especially like, you know, if he's got to develop a new pitch, how easy you made that and, you know, reading the data and delivering the data and all the information you guys were providing to pitchers.

I still work with our players and I'm never too far from it with our coaches or with them.

It was a weird beginning to the season, right? With all the injuries, it seemed like there was a need for arms in low A, like reached out to the free agent market and got guys like Steven Still and a bunch of guys that actually have pitched pretty well since they came in.

But my point is, I guess that the way to get around pitching injuries is just have so much depth that even though all these guys are down, Blake Money, Braxton Bragg, there's still just so many arms that it just gave other pitchers, like maybe Sebastian Gongora doesn't start in AA if, if these guys are healthy.

So just is depth like super important when you're building a, uh, pitching?
