Autodesk Softimage

His name is Jason Butler.

We both were using, uh, LightWave 3D, um, while the other team in the company was using Soft, Softimage.

Mm-hmm.

And this is Maya.

And being an animator or a filmmaker, you couldn't deny it.

So I took my first class in Softimage, which was a, uh, 3D animation, uh, software program that, uh, allowed us to easily, quickly model together little puppets and rig them and then make little sh- animated short films.

And I th- I quickly was amazed, like, "Wow, I can control everything here," um, in the sense of what a student had the time to control, and started getting into, uh, animated short films and whatnot.

So I took basically my, my love of animation, my love of film, and was able to combine them into CG animation.
