You're like, shoot, Texas Tech, on account of how its defense is able to score, is right back in a ball game.

But I, I just think your, your linebacking core and your, your offensive line really has a chance to, to really show out, um, in this game, um, even, even more than what they already have.

'Cause I feel like, you know, Austin Romaine leads you with 41 tackles, 23 unassisted.

Ben Roberts has 39.

But they're not getting the pressure on the quarterback like they usually do, right? And that's because of the fact, I mean, you, you know, you did lose Austin Romaine to Texas Tech in the transfer portal this past year, and he was, uh, probably the best linebacker, I would say, in, in, in the Big 12.

I mean, he was really good.

I'll give credit to him.

Um, you know, a couple years ago, we thought he was gonna lose his position to John Curry, and then he came out and balled like crazy.

Um, so Ben Roberts on the, on the linebacking group, as much as I would like to say Austin Romaine.

Um, give me Ben Roberts to get everybody set, uh, and try to slow down this Sun Devils offense.

And, uh, last one for you.

He has three pass breakups, two forced fumbles.

I mean, that's all just in five games, so those are, you know, just some playmaker stats there.

Uh, his running mate at linebacker, Austin Romaine, he's a transfer from Kansas State.

33 tackles, two for loss, two interceptions.

Seven turnovers the last two games, and we've also, on those turnovers, scored 21 points on the defensive side of the ball.

We've had three pick sixes out of our linebacking court, two by Austin Romaine and one by John Curry.

He's been, he's been really good.

I think Austin Romaine, after getting off to a s- a slow start, has also been really good of late, and obviously the, two games ago, what he did with the two pick sixes.

But, um, uh, I mean, if you look at his tackles over the last two games, they're way up, too.

Mm-hmm.

It's just not flashy.

There are a few who are fighting for that spot.

I mean, Austin Romaine has 15 pick sixes, pick sixes at Texas Tech.

But for BYU, they struggled mightily in the run game, and that was against TCU who's got a decent defense.

But without LJ Martin and without Sione Moa, who they've been without for this year, you start looking around saying, "Oh, shoot.
