Hello everybody, welcome back to the Car Nerd, the weekly deep dive where we deep dive into weekly things.

And as always, it is Thursday and therefore we're going to be discussing something that was used on a circuit, rally surface or otherwise competed against other cars on some sort of timed event.

Could be Formula 1 as well, which is still timed, right? Anyway, I'm off topic here.

And this week, we are delving into one of, you know, the most bizarre cars, I believe, in British history, the Metro 6 or 4.

And as far as I'm aware, it was a Group B car, so it'll be part of our ongoing Group B series.

And we'll get into that.

got? So first up, we've got a Mark 1, 1982, Austin Mini Metro, when they were still called Mini Metros, and that's a city, so that's a base version.

We've then got a Mark 2, you see with the facelifted front end, So this is a Mark II MG Metro Turbo.

We've then got a Mark III, which is a Rover Metro.

This particular example is a 1.4 SL with the K-series engine, carburettor on that one.
