It's a combination of, again, these bad progressive policies.
Savannah HernandezGUEST
9:42
It's a combination of a lot of Democratic socialists that had made their way onto the Austin City Council.
Savannah HernandezGUEST
9:48
I think that, again, people think that Texas is some red stronghold and that everything's fine and dandy.
Savannah HernandezGUEST
9:53
And then come our midterms, it's like, oh, wait, what do you mean James Tallarico is actually wildly popular? What do you mean the demographics of the state have changed so drastically that the average picture of UT looks like Mumbai? What's going on over here? And then you have the average voter that's like, why am I going to go vote for a Republican when this is what the state of Texas looks like? And it's like, yeah, That's a good question.
MarkHOST

GaryAUDIENCE
69:40
And yeah, I couldn't believe it when I heard it almost.
MarkHOST
69:45
Yeah, normally the Austin City Council would reject the idea of giving any money to any type of religious organization.
GaryAUDIENCE
69:54
Yeah, well, that needs to be delved into further because I am familiar with it.
Gina HinojosaGUEST
43:45

Gina HinojosaGUEST
43:49

MarkHOST
60:48
You won't hear a single city council member speak up or take action here.
MelindaHOST
60:52
