She had written for Austin & Ally, and would go on to write 28 episodes of Girl Meets World.

She has since worked on Zombies, the animated series, Trollstopia, and Vampirina: Teenage Vampire.

So I was, uh, reunited with her when I directed that show.

... 'cause all the commercials and everything.

I watched an Austin & Ally.

Do you ever watch Austin & Ally, like, even one time growing up?

No, it's, it's, it's past my time.

I know what it is though, but I never watched it.

And I did not realize how truly funny that episode is.

I w- I, I genuinely laughed and I go, "How did I, how did I not find this as funny when I was, like, 12 and 13 years old versus now?" It was s- it was quite entertaining.

The Austin & Ally one was pretty, it was very good.

Maybe I need to grow." I really thought like about it.

I was like, "Maybe I should grow in this and like figure this out." And so I watched a, clicked the TV on and I saw, I think it was Austin & Ally at the time, and I saw this kid who was my age, and I was like, "Wait, she's my age.

If I'm too young to do music, like I should jump into acting until I can do music, and then I'll have enough time to like figure out what my sound is, and then I'm still in the industry and I'm still working."

All right, so I wanna find out what, what happened next.

And even just thinking about like specific trailers for movies, I swear there was a trailer for the first movie that said introducing Sophia Carson, but I've like not been able to find that in later years.

But regardless of whether or not that was real or not, yeah, this was, I think she was on Austin Alley.

I know she was on Austin Alley, but I'm trying to remember if that was before this.

I think so.

But still, as far as like major roles, this was definitely her first, which is very interesting.

I was also really excited for that.

And that did actually, not to sound like a hypocrite, but that did have a little bit of a fandom.

on tumblr i think like people liked ross lynch like people are like this is a conventional thing we can enjoy we can use that as a jumping off point attractive you know young man um so from there there was a bit of like an r5 fandom there was a bit of an austin alley fandom and there was a bit of the teen beach fandom so i was a lot more open about my excitement for teen beach too so Around this time, a few DCOMs would go up on what was then called Watch Disney Channel, which is now called Disney Now, the official Disney Channel website where you could watch live TV and you could watch episodes of shows and movies and stuff.

It was directed by Jonathan A. Rosenbaum, the first of two Girl Meets World episodes he directed.

He was directing all the kids TV at the time, A.N.T. Farm, Austin & Ally, Jessie.

He'd go on to direct lots of Disney, from K.C. Undercover to Stuck in the Middle to Electric Bloom.

He also directed movies like Benchwarmers 2: Breaking Balls and Woody Woodpecker Goes to Camp.
