Aunt Xue

Um, now having delivered this kind of tongue lashing, Grandmother Jia decides that, you know, she wants to take a break.

She wants to play some, uh, some cards and, uh, and so she invites, um, uh, Wang Xifang, who we already mentioned, and two other ladies of the household, uh, Aunt Xue and Lady Wang back to join her for cards and then she's also assisted by, by Faithful, by Yuanyang, her, uh, her maidservant.

So they play and they kind of banter for a bit, um, and we get to see a bit of the kind of dynamic between the, um, the different people present.

Um, and at this point, another character arrives, Jia Lian.

... she wants to play cards or dominoes, and so she summons, you know, her usual, uh, crowd of companions.

Yes.

So that's Wang Xifeng and then her daughters-in-law, Lady Wang, who is her daughter-in-law, and Aunt Xue, who is Lady Wang's sister.

Mm-hmm.
