The strongest increases over that month were coming particularly from transport and clothing but really the big story here is that energy driver.

Adjusted for inflation, this summer's box office was about 17% lower than the summer of 2019 before the pandemic disrupted the movie industry.

And perhaps the biggest difference, You might look at the dollar amount, but if you look at the number of people actually going to the movies, through mid-August, theaters had sold roughly about 568 million tickets.

That's not about a third from just about six or seven years ago.

So really, the reason why theaters are making so much money is the price of the ticket.
