Audrey Wells

Nice.

Um, when I was researching this, I found like a tr- really tragic thing, which is that the, it w- the movie is an adaptation of a really popular book, but there was a screenwriter who adapted the book into a screenplay, and her name was Audrey Wells, and she actually passed away of cancer the day before the movie was released, so right on that Venus stationing retrograde in Scorpio.

So that's, that's really sad and tragic and must have felt, you know, pretty heavy for everybody involved in the movie, just knowing that as it was being released.

Yeah.

Yeah, we have to cover it.

This movie was written by Audrey Wells, who also wrote George of the Jungle, Under the Tuscan Sun, and The Hate U Give.

And she is an uncredited writer.

So she must have been doing rewrites on a ton of classic rom-coms like Runaway Bride, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Kate and Leopold.
