So, uh, tell us a little bit about-What, uh, these women had to say to you, how they're feeling about the reaction to them coming forward.

Well, thank you so much for having me.

I mean, this has been one of the biggest pieces and one of the biggest Senate races of this cycle.

This huge ex- expose drops in the New York Times last week.

One of the most fascinating things that happens here is, you know, these women are kind of s- they, it takes a lot for them to come forward in the New York Times, and a couple of them are kind of frustrated by how they're portrayed.

One of them is a woman named Lindsey Fifield.

She is a Republican that is featured very prominently in the piece.

What did they say, and did they match up with what you had heard from Rasako as well?

Uh, can you unpack that a little bit more? Uh, was he somebody very close to the Sheikh, or just in his broader circle? What kinds of ties did he have?

He met him in 1991 in his 20s, so of course, Hamayeh's from New Jersey.

That's where the Blind Sheikh had, um, you know, a mosque there.

He met him during a trip to a middle school.

After that, he had a pretty interesting association with the Blind Sheikh.

He served as a translator on an, uh, an occasion.

He actually went on a 13-hour drive to Michigan for a conference, which was discussed at the trial.

Final question, is Hamayeh expected to win in November?

I do remember that, yes.

... as much of an issue with that to make the election, quote unquote, "too big to rig." Um, you know, I profiled a bunch of, of Republican spending groups and folks who invested millions of dollars urging Republicans to catch up with Democrats on this front.

So I can ima- I can imagine a lot of political operatives on the Republican side are frustrated with this because, especially because Trump has such a unique ability to really juice low propensity voter turnout.

Republicans need every vote that they can get, and this is risky.

Mm-hmm.

And we're at, we're at this moment where they lost badly in 2024.

Their voters are extremely frustrated that they're not fighting back against Trump hard enough.

Um, but, you know, I'm also hearing California Republicans are hoping to fight back here.
