Back in the 90s, I had Audi 80s, Audi 90s.

I had an Audi 100, which I loved.

I would regard them as really good classic cars.

But at the same time, you never see anybody driving them.

The first post-war Audi with a four-stroke engine to wear the Audi badge was the Audi 72, so that was 1965.

And then, as you say, there were a few around in the 70s, but I don't think that the import thing didn't happen until the late 70s.

And then we're talking, what, Audi 100s.

But still, you don't see any of these cars about, do

It was recently reported that the head of Audi Sport has mentioned that the Audi team is still evaluating how they can keep the five-cylinder alive with the upcoming EU7 emissions regulations, how they can make it work.

with an engine that first debuted in the Audi 100 back in 1976.

There's not many basic engines that are still out there today that started back in the 70s, right? But the Audi five-cylinder is one of them.

Obviously, it's gone through some changes during that time, but the basic architecture is still there, and it's alive and well in the RS3 today.

And if somebody said in 1985, "I'm getting an Audi 5000," you would talk them out of it.

Yeah.

Now everyone loves Audis.

Yeah, and he put it in his garage and now he's making tons of money.

But to me, It's an Audi 5000 Quattro, which is like I owned a bunch of these types of cars.

They're kind of they're kind of boring, to be honest.

And this car looks what's funny about cars of this era.

It looks just like a boring Audi 5000 with BBS wheels and some like air dams and little doodads added onto it.

But like.

And it probably has fancier interior, like black leather or something.
