Mm-hmm.

Uh, and the Utah National Guards actually, the Army National Guard's gonna have an Apache, a Black Hawk, and a Lakota out there too this year.

Oh, cool.

So that'll be pretty cool.

As a military person, my role is to, you know, command this brigade, uh, while I'm in this appointment to be, to be ready to do what our nation requires of us, irrespective of the context or the actors involved.

And we are recapitalizing our army with platforms like you have behind you, the most sophisticated artillery system in the world, but also coming into this brigade, the most sophisticated armored breaching vehicles, tanks, the Apaches that have just come into the airport.

It's important for me to, to make sure that we are very, very focused on achieving-

achieving-our mission of preparing in every respect for war.

Eventually, we heard the rotors.

A Black Hawk came in with Apache gunships providing cover.

They winched us off the ledge.

When we got back, we were taken straight into a debriefing room.

He was a commander, I think.

He was in charge of the guns on an Apache.

And what he says in his book, is that pretty accurate?

Walking around going, hello, and what do you do? Yeah,

you've got complete air superiority in Afghanistan.

So, you know, the chances of an Apache getting shot out of the sky were probably slim to none.

The Saudis, somebody, my friend Doug, Dave, actually, former intelligence guy on Twitter goes, the Saudis have 58 Apache helicopters.

None of them are engaged in action in Yemen.

Well, we saw Apache helicopters back in 2015, 2016 get shot down by the Houthis.

The problem is, I mean, it would actually behoove Saudi Arabia to hire American goddamn former U.S. Army helicopter pilots and put them in as co-gunners on these Apaches, paying $250,000 a year would be cheaper, and go down there and start blasting your way through Houthi positions.

Nope.

Saudis don't appear to be wanting to use the Saudi army at all.

That's an awful lot of money.

Interesting, yeah.

And we just got some 19-fucking-67 Apaches.

What's the go with that? I saw our good friend Phil Thompson put up something the other day.

I messaged him and said, mate, they were built in the fucking 70s.

But to get that through the government and blah, blah, blah was such a pain in the ass.

And we have all this asset here in Australia, airframes, all the Blackhawks, and we didn't use none of them.

It'd be the same thing with the Apaches.

I used to tell women

that I was an Apache medic pilot.

You know what that is? It doesn't exist.

I used to tell them I used to get in an Apache, fly the helicopter, drop down while the helicopter was still hovering, save the person, and come back inside.

It doesn't exist.

It's like the fucking grappling hook of a helicopter.

They'd go hide with an RPG or whatever, and they'd get a blanket and hide next to a rock so that rock is warming up all day.

So when the Apaches come in, they're doing FLIR, they can't tell that guy from a rock.

He's pressed up against a rock.

So then the Apaches will circle while we're inserting and extracting in the Black Hawks or a 47.

So, I mean, there's times we're coming off target and you can't hear, like when you're getting on that, on that bird, like you can't hear if rounds...

It's so loud.

You know, rounds are coming in.

But, uh, Brad called for fire on some dudes that were peppering us.

A burned-out car is not the same as a melted car and melted engine blocks, which is what we saw.

Well, what can do that? Well, Apache Hellfire missiles can do that, the kind that are on Israeli helicopters.

And so when you see this line of cars, this highway coming out of the Nova Festival that was burned, which Hamas was blamed for, Israel said, "Well, this is what Hamas did to us, and therefore, again, it creates a, a reason and a justification for how we're going to respond in Gaza." Um, but it was very clear at the time it was a Hannibal Directive, and I think this video, um, demonstrates that it was as well.
