So we discuss about the structure, about how to leverage and trade finance instrument to be able to make it more effective from a cost perspective for the client.

And, and then we structure it, we work with partners, uh, AU Group, Atradius were there to help us to be able to provide the guarantees that was necessary for, for them to get access to funding.

And then we started doing it.

Started with one, one guarantee, second guarantee, and we fund the wh- the whole project.

Getting paid on time seems like the intuitive bare minimum, but chasing a debt involves different legal systems, different cultural attitudes towards repayment, and now AI-generated excuses.

So how do you actually recover a debt without torching the relationship that got you the sale in the first place? And what does trust even mean in a world of chatbots? I'm joined by Lucy Stagg of Atradius, who's spent over a decade in credit management and collections and has more than a few stories to prove it.
