On Sunday, September 20th, the Athlone Half Marathon in the 10K took place on the Athlone Mullingar Greenway with a beautiful track finish there on the grounds of TUS.

They had 447 finishers across the two disciplines.

For the 10K, Mark Darby secured the win with a time of 34.07. Kevin Moore from Mullingar Harriers in second place with a time of 34.53. Adam Courtney for Ban AC in third place with a time of 35.36.

I did it in AIT, or TUS now, as it's called, in Athlone.

Very good.

Yeah.

And we've a really good relationship with them in building new apprenticeships as well.

TUS but I'd say more ATUS because they seem to have specialised in some other subjects but yeah the people in the construction division in particular in Athlone have been really really strong partners for us so good college

It was in Athlone IT or TU Midlands or whatever it is now, but it was Athlone IT at the time.

And we were after doing the gym session, we were walking from the gym out to the pitch and Donnie Smith came up to me.

He was doing very well there now on all the GA podcasts and GA punditry and all that and he retired from Scotland there last year.
