3:22
And I do a lot of community work in that sense.
Navin NambiarGUEST
3:27
What else is there? Sportsman, businessman? So, I think a lot of people always ask me how do I manage my time and the truth is my calendar looks like a rainbow, to be honest.
Navin NambiarGUEST
3:40
But I need to adjust things accordingly so that I can try to accommodate as much as I can.
Navin NambiarGUEST
3:45
For me, it's always being on the go and trying to, you know, do things, do better things in life and I think with regards to Ballester, if you ask me, um...

30:54
One of the cycling instructors is the very first pro athlete that I ever coached, Max, Tyler Stewart.
Matt DixonHOST

Nadia PowerGUEST
1:49
I represented Ireland in the 800 metres in the Tokyo Olympics, which would be considered middle distance for me.
Nadia PowerGUEST
1:57
So two laps of the track is my speciality and a bit of 1500 as well.
Lauren O'ReillyHOST
2:23
And I kind of came into your sphere as someone using your brand, Swifter, and it's so cool.
Lauren O'ReillyHOST
2:29
It made such a big difference to my running journey.
Lauren O'ReillyHOST
2:32
So I guess as an athlete, you develop so many skills and it's such an elite kind of practice and training and everything.
Lauren O'ReillyHOST
2:40
How have you found that transition into starting a business and becoming a founder? Is there a lot of crossover there? Yeah, there

Jesse DaleGUEST

And what I mean by that is I lean on him deeper into the scripture because it's such a grueling process.
Jesse DaleGUEST
4:49
Any of your high-end athletes, they all go through a grueling process.
Jesse DaleGUEST
4:52
So bodybuilding is no different.
Michelle SmallmanSOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
1:59
Hey, it's Michelle Smallman, and coming up Wednesday, I'll ask Mel Kiper Jr. if he was a Giants GM.
Michelle SmallmanSOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
2:03
Would he draft Fernando Mendoza or roll with Jackson Dart when he joins us at 8.30 a.m.? It's on Sportsman, like 6 a.m. Eastern, right here on ESPN Radio, ESPN2, and ESPNU.
AnnaHOST
20:33
I feel like there's just been quite a few examples of performances being at the Sydney marathon and actually prior to that, that some like pre slash postpartum performances, like we feel like they should have felt more inspiring and like, admittedly they clearly were for a lot of people, but we wanted to unpack whether we essentially didn't find like these things didn't land as like super, super inspiring and, And we wanted to chat about whether that is like because of us just having that like comparison mindset slash like tall poppy syndrome in a sense or whether there's something in particular that influences which category these achievements fall into.
PhoebeHOST
21:18
yeah in terms of like being inspired by it versus just being like oh I just I actually just feel worse about like I feel like demotivated by that and we also like we wanted to try and make it really clear up front that this we want to have a discussion about the impact of these performances without actually discussing whether the achievements in themselves are like good or bad or right or wrong like yeah we are very in the camp of like these people can do whatever they want that is all completely fine it's not trying to examine their choices just sort of the effect of them when shared in different ways in particular but we'll talk through some examples of what we're actually meaning we're being very abstract right now but looking at like high profile runners or elite athletes So maybe let's give some examples.
PhoebeHOST
22:02
Do you want to give some examples of different performances that fall into the same category, but maybe like landed with us in different ways? Maybe there's some examples of people who were like pregnant and racing hard.
AnnaHOST
22:13
Yeah.
