I think of video games.

I think of consoles.

I mean, it's a synonym of the video industry, Atari.

And in 1977, their video computer system, and many people will tell you, this was the first modern console.

that used the same format, not the same format as far as digital in this, but the same idea, the same concept, and it started showing the importance of the game.

So they lost tons of money.

It is a brand new handheld that looks like the Nintendo DS, but plays brand new games off of Steam.

along with practically every video game from the Atari to the Switch.

And at the same time as I play games on that top screen, I can watch TV shows or YouTube or just surf through guides on the bottom screen.

There is, though, one big catch.

The Atari had a modem.

It just wasn't built in.

It's not, I know it's not everybody.

You had the Atari.

You had the Master System.

And the final thing, I pulled this just because I thought you might be kind of interested in it.

I found it interesting that in a time where Sony says, we're going to stop all physical production, Atari says, fuck you, we're making Atari 2600 games.

physically yeah i i didn't think this was news i thought they'd already done this ages ago because i remember you could go to atari's booth and buy 2600 cartridges

All right, so this one's a toughie for me because I've had a lot of retro consoles that I absolutely loved.

I've pretty much owned every single console since the Atari 2600 at one point or another in my life and enjoyed them all.

But the one I liked the least would probably be the Sega Game Gear.

The games on the thing were really good as I really enjoyed playing Sega games on the go.

But it has such a good Atari vibe to it.

So basically it was what it says on the tin.

You run a small little repair shop in Tokyo in early 2000s, and it's kind of like an alternate timeline where it's like they have internet, but it's also, like, the old style of, like, you know, Atari.

They actually have the Atari licensing, so they have all the original, like, actual Atari consoles, and then they have spoofs of, like, you know, the, uh, the DS.

They have, like, the, you know, Genesis, all the, like, all the old school, like, style of, uh, of gaming consoles.

I think Atari's the only one they actually have the licensing for, so they have, like, the actual names for those, but everything else is, like, a, you know, one letter off situation.

Yeah, no, they, they don't, they don't have the Xbox.

They have the Key Box.
